Our History

Our building dates back to the early 1860's and is of Italianate architecture. In 1951, the building was purchased by Nicholas J. and Pauline Lucci Bush to become a funeral home. The building was extensively renovated by Pauline's father, Paul Lucci, an Italian cabinet maker.

The Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home was founded in 1951 by Nicholas J. Bush. His son, Nicholas P. Bush, joined the business in 1984. For over fifty years the Bush family has served the community with dignity and respect.

Our funeral home offers a number of spacious rooms including a reception room, two viewing rooms, a sitting room and a casket selection room which are all handicap accessible.
