                                  Onofria Fedele

     Onofria Fedele, 84, of Rome, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010.   She was born in Cattolica-Eraclea, Italy on April 24, 1925, daughter  of the late Antonio and Francesca Ballaro Beddia.  On April 21, 1941,  she married Stefano Fedele in Cattolica-Eraclea, Italy.  He passed  away July 23, 1990.  Onofria was a member of St. John the Baptist  Church.    

     Surviving are a son, Luigi and Marina Fedele, Rome; six daughters,  Maria and Calarogero Manna, Brooklyn, Vita Puma, Rome, Gina and  Joseph Dainotto, Rome, Silvana and Michael Mattioli, Staten Island,  Cleopatra Bohning, Rome, Yolanda and Mark Iodice, Rome; 26  grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren, and one great great  grandchild.  Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Amedeo  and Teresa Beddia, and a sister, Vincenza Puma, all of Rome.  She was  predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Carmela and Vincenzo  LaPuma, and a son-in-law, Angelo Puma.

      Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:15 a.m. from the  Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St.  John the Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. John's  Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 9  p.m.
