Stephen A. Uvanni Stephen A. Uvanni, 88, of Rome, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Bethany Gardens. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on February 15, 1918, son of the late Joseph and Philomena DiCerbo Uvanni. On Oct. 1, 1939 he married Marie Antoinette Ann Summa in St. John the Baptist Church. She passed away April 3, 1971. He later married Patricia Roman on May 1, 1972. She passed away July 1988. Mr. Uvanni was owner and operator of Uvanni's Restaurant until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and former member of Rome Knights of Columbus. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph V. and Mary Ann Uvanni, a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Campanaro, all of Rome; a stepson, Jed and his wife Carol Roman, Oriskany; a sister, Antoinette D. Argenio, Rome. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Margaret and her husband Ken Weber, Steven and his wife Chena Campanaro, Robert and his wife Amy Campanaro, James and his wife Carey Campanaro, all of Rome, Merideth and her husband Noah Lange, Utica, Brandon Roman, Oriskany; nine great-grandchildren, Nicholas Weber, Gino Campanaro, Annmarie Weber, Theresa Campanaro, Severino Campanaro, Damon Campanaro, Santino Campanaro, Torino Campanaro and Taylor Uvanni, all of Rome; and several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Edna Klis of Rome. He was predeceased by two sisters, Louise Carollo and Evelyn Malorzo and two brothers, Joseph Uvanni and Michael Uvanni. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Online memorials at www.njbushfuneralhome.com
