Mary M. Lewis
Mary M. Lewis, 96, of Rome, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Stafford, VA, on March 24, 1918, daughter of the late James and Dasie Payne Butler. Mary was united in marriage to the late Alfred R. Lewis.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Lubert Sr. and Marsha Lewis, Rome, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Shirley A. Lewis, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
