Obituary of Edward P. Esposito

Edward P. Esposito Edward P. Esposito, 75, of Rome, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Rome Center. He was born in Canastota, NY, on November 29, 1938, son of the late Peter and Natalina Alessi Esposito. Ed graduated from Rome Free Academy and took several courses at various schools. He retired as Chef Supervisor from Oneida County Correctional Facility, Oriskany. Ed was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. He received numerous Employee Recognition Awards for outstanding service through his thirty-five years of service in the food industry. He was a connoisseur of fine food and appreciated the ambiance of the finest restaurants. Ed was an avid pet lover, enjoyed reading from his vast spiritual library and loved the outdoors. Surviving are his sister Concetta (Connie) Esposito, Rome and several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Natalina and Peter, two uncles; John and Ralph Esposito. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W.
