Flora J. Marrello Flora J. Marrello, 67, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford, NY. She was born in Watertown, NY on September 24, 1947 daughter of the late Chauncey and Dorothy Tibbles Stevens and step-daughter of the late Allen Ball. Flora received her Master's Degree in Nursing from Pulaski University. On June 16, 1974 she married Frank J. Marrello in Oneida, NY. He passed away March 6, 1999. Flora retired as a registered nurse from Rome DDSO. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law; Frank III and Kelly Marrello, South Carolina, Jerry J. Marrello, Rome, two daughters and a son-in-law; Denise and Cliff Burrows, Tallahassee, FL, Christine Marrello, Cookeville, TN, grandchildren; Krista, Kari, Cody, Miranda, Makenzi, Julia and Frankie. Also surviving are two brothers; Dr. John Allen Ball, MI, Larry Ball, CO, and several nieces and nephews, and best friends, Patty and Steve Isner. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Razia and the staff of St. Luke's Healthcare for their care and compassion shown to Flora. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:15 am from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
