Obituary of Jean Pugh Del Nero

Jean Pugh Del Nero Jean M. Del Nero, 88, of Rome passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Utica, NY on July 7, 1927 daughter of the late Brayton and Margaret Jones Pugh. Jean graduated from the Utica School of Commerce. On May 14, 1955 in Utica, NY, she was united in marriage to Eugene V. Del Nero. He passed away October 26, 2015. Jean retired from Rome Developmental Center in 1993, prior to that she was employed at the Kent Company in Rome. Jean was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons; Dale (Andrea) Del Nero, Endicott, NY and Gary Del Nero (Trudy Russell) Rome, NY, four grandchildren; Gary Del Nero Jr., Alana Del Nero, Eric Del Nero and Elia Del Nero; one great grandchild, Jaxson Del Nero and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene and a sister, Gaynor Pugh. The family would like to thank Bethany Gardens for their care and compassion. There are no services or calling hours.
