Antoinette R. Caputo Antoinette R. Caputo, 95, of Rome passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Schenectady, N.Y. on August 4, 1920 daughter of the late Dominick and Jenny Terrible Palleschi. Antoinette married John Bartkowski of Feburary 15, 1942 in Schenectady. He passed away in 1943. On June 9, 1946 she married Donald A. Caputo in St. Anthony's Church Schenectady. Antoinette retired in 1983 from General Electric as an index operator. She was a member of St. Paul's Church Rome. The greatest joy in Antoinette's life was her family. Surviving besides her husband Donald are two daughters and sons-in-law; Donna and Dominick Tagliaferri, Christine and Robert Corredine all of Rome, five precious grandchildren; Tracy (Mark) Melone, Tara Tagliaferri, Robert Corredine, Sarah (Cory) Quinter, Kerry Corredine, nine wonderful great grandchildren; Giulia, Sofia and Elisa Melone, Sarah and Hunter Tagliaferri, Casey and Paige Corredine, Mason and Makayla Quinter. Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Nancy Pallescki of Schenectady, and several cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; Frank, Anthony and Armand Palleschi and a sister Julia Corridore. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Bethany Gardens for the excellent care they provided for Antoinette. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Cyril Cemetery, Schenectady, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., Rome, N.Y. 13440. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
