Natalia Maria Monterastelli Natalia Maria Monterastelli, 76, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Born in Fiumalbo, Italy, on December 25, 1939 she was the daughter of late Renato and Laura Coppi Amidei. On April 4, 1964 she married Mario Monterastelli in Italy. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Maria's passions were homemaking, cooking, and love of family. She retired from the Rome City School District where she worked part-time for many years as a Cafeteria Aide. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Maria is survived by her beloved family: husband Mario of 51 years, son and daughter-in-law Emilio 'Emo' and Sheila Monterastelli of Southborough, MA, daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Richard Streiff of Jamesville, NY, and one grandson Mario Henry Streiff. Also surviving is a sister Adriana Montana, Pisa, Italy, several nieces, nephews, brother and sisters in-law, special friends Liberty Danti, Aldo Calicchia, and the Botticelli family. She was predeceased by a brother Mario Amidei, Savona, Italy. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of the fourth wing at The Grand Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion shown to Maria and her husband Mario. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 9:45 a.m., from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
