Patricia Migliori DeProspero Patricia Migliori DeProspero, age 95, of Rome, passed away after a long and happy life on Monday, March 7, 2016. She was born on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1920, the daughter of Rocco and Maria Verro Migliori. Patricia was raised in Rome, NY, along with her 4 brothers and 1 sister. On June 17, 1944, she married Baldino DeProspero at St. John the Baptist Church, a marriage that celebrated 55 years together until his passing in 1999. Baldino served in the Army during WWII, and for many years, Patricia corresponded with the family that her husband stayed with while in Australia. Together they had one child, Patricia Moore who in turn had three children, Jeffrey (Kelly) Moore, Jennifer (Shannon) Wells and Jason Moore. She was also a great-grandmother to Jared, Kira, Joe, and Nicole. Patricia lived a life of faith, family, food and fun. She was a fabulous cook and the aromas filled the neighborhood. Patricia was skilled in many endeavors creating heirloom tablecloths, blankets, cross-stitchings and paintings. Her secrets to a long life were a daily glass of wine, a Mediterranean diet, and an always positive outlook. After her husband passed, Patricia got a beloved dog, named Reggie, who was her constant companion for 13 joyful years. She is survived by her daughter, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her two brothers, Vincent Migliori and Larry Migliori, brother-in-law Jack Parker, sister-in-law Julia DeProspero and many nieces and nephews. She joins her parents, husband Baldino, sister Anna, brothers Rocco and wife Jennie, Anthony and wife Helen as well as her son-in-law Benjamin, in rest. She also joins sisters-in-law, Helen E. Migliori, Rose Migliori, Felicia Parker and Ida and John DeProspero and brothers-in-law Al DeProspero and Joe and Mary DeProspero. A special thanks to The Terrace at Woodland where she resided these last few years and to Mary a special friend, and to the people who passed her way with kindness. Only God knows how many lives she touched and how many had touched her. We were graciously blessed to call her Mom and Grandma. We will truly miss this wonderful lady.
