Mary C. Cicero Mary C. Cicero, 86, of Rome, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY on October 8, 1929 daughter of the late Marino and Marina Marchione Cicero. Mary graduated from Rome Free Academy. She was employed as a secretary for forty years at Roland, Bellinger and Comstock Insurance Co. and was later employed by Trela Insurance Co. and Williams and Graves Insurance Co. Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and loved animals. Surviving are a brother, Anthony Cicero, Rome, nieces and a nephew; Linda and her husband Frank Jennie, Clinton, Jeanette Davis, Rome and Mary Ann Walsh, N.C., and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister-in-law; Salvatore and Ada Cicero, Charles Cicero, a sister, Anna Cicero and a nephew, Salvatore "Sammy" Cicero, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family will receive friends at church before the Mass from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd.
