Dear Laurie and family, Sending our thoughts and prayers to surround you all with the love of our father above over the sudden and devastating loss of such a brilliant, bright light whose life touched so many in her compassion, love of family, companionship and fellowship.
What stands out for me in my memories of Darlene was how as a curly headed little girl, she exuded such incredible joy that it melted your heart and embedded itself as a spark within the very soul. Unforgettable and a gift to all who were so fortunate and blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her.
With deepest sympathy,
Love, Betsy, Jules, Adrien and Alyssa Comeau

Darlene will hold a spot in each of our hearts forever. She was loving and caring. Darlene had a big heart, a great smile, and a precious giggle. The devotion she showed to people who struggled was exemplary.
My heart is so sad for your family. I cheered with Darlene at LHS and every time I think of her, I always remember her smiling and giggling. She really was an amazing happy person and I am not at all surprised she devoted her life to helping others. My prayers are with your family. Rest In Peace Darlene.
My sincerest condolences to Darlene’s family. I went to LHS and was friends with Darlene and, though I haven’t spoken to her in some time, she was always a fun, nice person to be around. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. - Nick Antinarella
