Jean (Norelli) Conti, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2022, with her family by her side. Born in Rome, NY, on April 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Viscosi) Norelli. Jean was the youngest of five daughters.

Jean graduated from Rome Free Academy and Utica School of Commerce. Jean retired from New York Telephone Company (Verizon). On September 12, 1953, she was married to Joseph J. Conti, in St. John the Baptist Church, a blessed and loving union of sixty-two years, until his passing on April 5, 2015.

Surviving are four children: Joseph (Patricia) Conti, Houston, TX, Joan Conti Whitney, Buffalo, NY, Joyce (Gary) Brown, Houston, TX, and Jacqueline R. Conti, Delmar, NY. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by: her in-laws Antonio and Rose Conti, her sisters: Ida DeProspero, Jane Ciotti, Martha Norelli and Carmella Almeida, and a son-in-law, Dr. Stewart B. Whitney.

A private funeral service and interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean's memory may be made to: the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.
