When you know a person as kindhearted, loving and giving as Anita; you imagine many things about her parents. We were fortunate enough to spend time with Murray and Rosemary and experience their genuine goodness, love and light. We are so thankful for time shared with Murray. It's with heavy hearts we express our sincere heart felt condolences. May GOD give you solace going through this difficult time. Murray made an impact in every ones lives that knew him. His Charismatic demeanor and vibrant smile will never be forgotten.We will all cherish the fond memories he gave us. Please know GOD gained a special Angel when he entered Heaven's gate, as aunt Freida and uncle Dale are there to greet him. As he now walks the streets of gold, with his radiant smile, a place of rejoicing, where not one tear shall stain the streets in a place known as Heaven. I grew up as a neighbor of Murry and was fortunate enough to play basketball with him at Rose Hill school basketball court. He was a tremendously gifted ball player and he taught me so much about playing the game and I vividly recall him playing high school ball against Bellaire HS rivals I also remember his parents , Dale and Frieda who were always kind to me and sometimes gave me Murry's out grown clothes which I proudly wore
We lost a great man but Heaven gained a wonderful man

Not to sound awkward, but while I didn't know your father and grandfather, I do have memories of playing on the grounds at Rose Hill School a few years after him, as did my parents. I did however have the privilege of delivering your grandmothers Times-Leader to her and hearing her tell stories of him and all her memories of living in Bellaire when it was really the All-American town. Your father was an extension of your Grand parents, a fine man I'm sure, and the world will surely have a spot missing in the sunshine. Hold your memories close to your heart. The yearly trip to Rome with my Mom is such a nice day. Murray was always there to greet us with that same straight edged shovel and a huge smile. I’ll always think of him in his garden, tending to things and helping them grow. His laugh was infectious and that twinkle in his eye mixed in just a whisper of mischief. I feel truly blessed to have known both Murray and Rosemary all these years. He will be much missed but I’m sure that Connie and Izzy were happy to welcome him home.

In memory of Murray, who helped me and my daughter place flowers at the stone memorials for my mother Isabel and grandmother Concetta Vergalito every Labor Day. He had sturdy shovels and buckets for water in his truck. He was always so helpful.
He will be missed.

Murray was such a kind, decent man. He always made me feel enveloped in warmth and love. I looked forward to and was sustained by his gentle hugs each time I saw him. He was (and remains) a person to emulate. So much love to his dear wife and family, who I know miss him sorely. I'm listing myself as family, because that's the love I felt from him, and that he had from me.
