1952 - 2025

 

Anthony John Gallucci, 73, of Rome, passed away after a six month battle with cancer.  He was the eldest of the children of John and Theresa Lonero Gallucci.  Anthony was born in Rome and lived most of his life in the area.   He had graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1971 and attended college.   Tony had held numerous jobs in his life-time.   Due to medical and other conditions he was unable to continue working.   Tony has lived in many towns and cities around the Rome area, never having one spot for too long.  He stayed close to Rome.  Tony lived with his mother over the years as a help to her in her later life.  While Anthony had his issues to deal with he was able to live an independent life and help his mother.

Surviving are two sisters, Gina Gallucci, California, and Diana White, Pennsylvania, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased in death by his parents, John and Theresa, his brother, John and his wife Agnes.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., at 6:00 p.m.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-6 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
