Obituary of Logan A. Kerber
Logan A. Kerber
2005-2025
Logan A. Kerber, 19, of Rome, NY passed away on June 9, 2025, while doing what he loved. Born in Syracuse, NY on October 12, 2005, he was the son of Richard A. Kerber and Taraze (Theresa) O’Connell Kerber. Logan graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2024. He was employed by PIPSI Security Service in Rome as a Security Guard.
Logan loved life, he was happiest when he was outside enjoying nature; he especially enjoyed life on the water. He loved time spent on the boat with friends and family; he enjoyed the thrill of riding his jet ski and was always ready to hook a bass. Logan was also an avid hunter who enjoyed spending time in the woods. Any day spent in nature was a good day.
Logan was a gifted hockey player, a true Rome Grizzly to the core. He had a bond with his hockey family that was unbreakable, brothers at heart with a love of the game. Salmon River tournaments were some of his favorite memories, but any time spent on the ice was time well spent. The many hours spent in the car traveling from rink to rink are memories that will be forever cherished.
Logan leaves behind a legacy of living life to the fullest and always went after what he loved. His adventurous spirit is what he would want to be remembered for. Whether you are spending the day riding in the car from rink to rink or enjoying a beautiful summer day out on the lake, think of Logan; live each day to the fullest and enjoy every moment.
Logan is survived by his parents Richard and Taraze (Theresa) Kerber; his brother Nathan Kerber (Jayde Jinks); uncle Daniel O’Connell; special aunt Bonnie Kerber; cousin Ethan O’Connell, nephew Matteo Falitico; lifelong friend Joey Bohning; special friends Dom Kelsey, Tony Potter, Dayton Dyer, Michael McCullagh, Jim and Stacey Knight; a lifetime of friends; and numerous teammates; he was predeceased by his brother Ian-Anthony Falitico and his grandparents.
