Obituary of Terry L. Bowman
Terry L. Bowman
1954 - 2025
Terry L. Bowman, age 71, of Town of Lee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14th, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 3rd, 1954, in Oneida, New York, to the late Ted and Betty (Prosser) Andrewski. On February 20th, 1988, he married his wife of 37 years, Teresa Coluccio, in Coral Springs, Florida.
Terry was a proud Marine veteran, a stubborn puzzle solver, and an expert Mickey Mouse pancake flipper. His passions ranged from culinary arts—having attended The Culinary Institute of America—to historic home restorations, where he applied his craftsmanship. His adventurous spirit led him to live life to its fullest, cherishing moments with his family and embracing every challenge with his energetic personality and humor.
Terry is survived by his wife, Teresa Bowman, his mother-in-law, Carmella M. Coluccio, and his two sons, John C. Tarbania III (Mary) and Andrew L. Bowman (Liz). He also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Amanda L. Tarbania, Vanessa M. Tarbania, Mason A. Tarbania, and Kylie A. Tarbania, as well as several nieces and nephews. Terry’s family extended beyond people, as he shared his home with one dog, two ducks, and one very mean cat. He was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Betty (Prosser) Andrewski, his siblings, Lena Foley, William Bowman, and his father-in-law, Bruce F. Coluccio.
The family wishes to thank all the Doctor's and Nurse's of the Wilmot Cancer Center along with the entire staff of the Hope Lodge for the wonderful care and compassion which they provided to Terry and his family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s name to: American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620 or online at: www.cancer.org/hopelodgerochesterny
