Jeanette Spaziani Redd

1941 – 2026

Jeanette M. Redd, 84, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born in Rome, N.Y., on April 15, 1941, daughter of the late James and Yolanda Fiore Spaziani. Jeanette was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and was employed as a sales associate at several local stores until her retirement.

Jeanette was a devout Catholic and loved being a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She attended daily mass regularly and cherished the many friends who worshiped alongside her. Jeanette was a member of the Marion Guild of St. John the Baptist Church for many years. 

The family would like to acknowledge and thank Jeanette’s friends (Josephine Clark and Theresa Holmes) for their love and compassion to Jeanette over the years. 

Jeanette is survived by her brother, John Spaziani, of Rome; cousins, Naz (Bud) Fiore, Richard (Marella) Fiore, Debbie (Bruce) Mitchell, of Carlsbad, California, and Angela Everhard, of Grants Pass, Oregon. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Yolanda Spaziani, and her sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Boyce Slane.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick Street, Rome, N.Y. 13440. The family will receive friends following the Mass. There are no calling hours.
