John Spaziani

1942 – 2026

John Spaziani, 83, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Monday April 13, 2026. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on August 13, 1942, son of the late James and Yolanda Fiore Spaziani.

John loved his family and had a likeable personality. He really enjoyed his TV and looked forward to watching his favorite shows. He was a lifelong resident of the ARC Oneida. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all the staff at his residence at 303 West Cedar Street, for their love and compassion given to Johnny over the years.

John is survived by his cousins, Naz (Bud) Fiore, Richard (Marella) Fiore, and Debbie (Bruce) Mitchell, of Carlsbad, California. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Yolanda Spaziani, his sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Boyce Slane, sister, Jeanette Redd, and cousin Angela Everhard, of Grants Pass, Oregon.

A brief Memorial Service will take place on Thursday April 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome, N.Y. 13440. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
