Harold B. Pope
Harold B. Pope, 44, of Lee Center, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rome, NY, on January 27, 1972 son of Charles E. and Carolyn Race Pope. Harold was a graduate of Adirondack High School. He was a self-employed. Harold was an avid dirt track racing fan at many racetracks, including Utica-Rome Speedway, Brewerton, and Fonda Race Track.
Surviving besides his father, Charles E. Pope Sr., Taberg, is his loving companion, Michelle Karsten and her son, Christopher Bronson, Lee Center; a brother, Charles and his wife, Debbie Pope, IN, two sisters; Doreen Pope, Rome and Wendy Pope-Bishop and her husband Mark, Largo, FL, Godmother, Virginia Snow, Lee Center and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Carolyn Pope and aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 1-5 p.m. Graveside Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery.
