Anna M. Cianfrocco Anna M Cianfrocco, 90 passed away peacefully at the Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Sunday January 27,2013, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born July 26, 1922 in Rome N.Y., daughter of the late Mercurio and Lavina Spinelli DiFlorio. She was joined in marriage to Nazarino (Naz) Cianfrocco on April 19, 1941, in St. John the Baptist Church, a blessed union of 62 years. Naz passed away August 26, 2003. Anna, affectionately known as "Gram", will always be remembered for her ability to please her family. She was extremely proud of her Italian heritage. All anyone had to do was mention a favorite Italian dish and it was immediately prepared. Some of the cherished memories her family will always have are: pans and pans of sauce, a constant supply of licorice in her "candy drawer", dozens of cookies to be fought over, her amazing salad dressing, and the way she created a loving atmosphere in her home. She will always be remembered with loving thoughts. Anna was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy Ann and Vincent George, Rome; her daughter-in-law Colleen Cianfrocco, Oneida; grandchildren Mark George, NYC, Scott (Susan) George, Oneida; Cheri (Robert) Galluppi, Rome; Alexander (Heather) Cianfrocco, Gibsonia PA; Michael (Alice) Cianfrocco, Somerville MA; Daniel Cianfrocco, Worcester MA; and great-grandchildren Mark George Jr, Jared George, Jacob George, Jenna George, Rachel Galluppi, and Nico Galluppi. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Assunta Biancucci and Pauline Cianfrocco, special friends The Pacenza family and several nieces & nephews. Anna was predeceased by her son Michael, grandson Adam Cianfrocco, brothers Dominick and Nicholas DiFlorio, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary Viscelli, Dempsey Cianfrocco, Adeline Rotolo, Peter Cianfrocco, Thomas Cianfrocco, and Stephen Cianfrocco. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their loving care of Anna. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m.for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
