Obituary of Eleanor A. (Belmont) Bostwick

Eleanor A. (Belmont) Bostwick Our mom, Eleanor A. (Belmont) Bostwick left us on Saturday, February 23, 2013, to rest next to her son and our brother Paul Bostwick. Eleanor was born on February 9, 1939 in Rome, NY daughter of the late Patsy and Josephine D'Argenio Belmont. Eleanor graduated from Saint Aloysius Academy in 1956. Her music career started in first grade and continued throughout her senior year. Eleanor never missed a recital or a chance to play the piano. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Marie Cortright, NC; a son, Donald P. Bostwick, VA; a daughter, Julie Ann (Kevin) Rutyna, NC. Eleanor was blessed with six beautiful grandchildren, Tara B. Cortright, Zachary (Nicole) Cortright, Kayla (fiance Bryant) Cortright, William Bostwick, Kylie and Tylor Rutyna; three beautiful great-grandchildren Hailey, Paul J. and Jacob Cortright. Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and John Domenico, Rome. She was predeceased by her son Spec. 4 Paul J. Bostwick, who passed away in 1985. Funeral services will be held at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W.
