Nicholas J. Stagliano Nicholas J. Stagliano, 79, of Rome passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rome, NY, son of the late Dominick and Rose De Agazio Stagliano. Nick attended Rome Schools. He was owner and operator of Nick's Shoe Repair. He was a member and usher at St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving is a brother Dominick Stagliano Jr., Rome, several cousins including James and his wife Judy Cortese, Rome, Jack De Agazio Jr., Syracuse, Mary Jean and her husband Mark Lehman, Waterville and Elizabeth De Agazio, NC. He was predeceased by many aunts and uncles. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the entire staff including nurses, aides and cleaning staff at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 am from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
