Frances Kulecz Gorski Frances Kulecz Gorski, 83, of Rome, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. She was born in Flint, Michigan on March 7,1930, daughter of the late Ben and Edith Cobert Janisewski. Fran attended Rome Schools. She was the owner and operator of Fran's Beauty Nook and was a Hair Stylist for forty years. On April 24,1948 she married Walter Kulecz in Transfiguration Church. He passed away May 3,1995. On April 17,1999 she married Theodore L. Gorski in St. Paul's Church. Fran was a member of St. Paul's Church. She was an avid bowler in several leagues including the Cloverleaf Bowling League. Fran enjoyed traveling and visited forty nine out of the fifty United States of America. She was a past President of the PTA and a Den Mother. Surviving besides her loving husband, Ted, are a son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Laura Kulecz, Houston TX, a daughter and son- in-law, Karen and Richard Wrey, Stormville, NY; a Stepson Daniel G. Gorski, a stepdaughter Donna and her husband Howard York, all of Rome; five step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Adam. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Fran's memory to St. Paul's Church, 1807 Bedford St., Rome, NY 13440.
