Gilda J. Lucci Gilda J. Lucci, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born in Rome, NY, daughter of the late Paul and Mary DeLutis Lucci. Gilda graduated from Rome Free Academy. She retired from Rome Cable after thirty- seven years of employment. Gilda was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Rome Art and Community Center, Rome Art Association, Art Guild of Old Forge and was also a member of the 94th Bomb Group Memorial Association. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Paul A. and Kathy Lucci, Rome, two sisters Pauline Bush, Peabody, MA, and Helen Martini, Rome. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers-in-law Nicholas J. Bush, Silvio Martini and a dear friend, Ethan H. Seymour. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Private burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family will receive friends at St. John the Baptist Church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., prior to her Funeral Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 210 E.
