Lloyd P. Ruch Lloyd P. Ruch, 76, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Rome Memorial Hospital after a battle with heart diseases. He was born in Muir,PA, on September 19,1938 a son of the late Harvey and Helen Travitz Ruch. Lloyd was educated in the Rome school system. He served with the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. Lloyd retired from Rome Hospital as a maintenance person for over twenty years. He loved artwork and camping with family every summer. Surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, Leon L. Ruch, Rome, Gene R. and Sue Ruch, Atlanta, NY, a brother-in-law, Albert Magersuppe and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Francis Coniglio and Janice Magersuppe. The family would like to express a special thank you to all of Lloyd's Doctors, Nurses, and everyone at Rome Memorial Hospital for their kind and generous service. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 6 -8 p.m. In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 120 Lomond Ct., Utica, NY 13502.
