Elaine M. Delaney, 65, of Rome, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Mid-Hudson Valley Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on January 21,1957 in Rome, NY, daughter of the late August and Mary Ahern Glasso. Elaine graduated from Rome Catholic High School. She retired from Rome State School. Elaine was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Delaney, David, Wendi, and Jesse and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a sister, Valerie (Kim) Streeter, a niece, Rebecca Simpson and children, nephew, Michael Streeter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Peter's Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
