Alan C. “Butch” DeFazio

Alan C. “Butch” DeFazio, 74, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2022.  He was born in Rome, NY, son of the late Albert D. and Patricia McCabe DeFazio on March 8, 1948. Butch attended Rome Schools.  He was a former employee at Rome Pettibone Corp.  Butch was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Rome.

Surviving is a son, Alan M. DeFazio, and a daughter, Carrie R. Dentino, both of Vernon, NY, grandchildren, Canaan and Gianna.  Also surviving is a brother, Gary DeFazio and a sister, Joan Feole, both of Rome and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Billy DeFazio.

Services will be private.  There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome.
