Robert W. Moore, 75, of Barneveld, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Monday, October 10, 2022, at home.  He was born in Albany, NY, on November 19, 1946, son of the late Frank J. and Alva M. Morgans Moore.  Bob graduated from Colonie Central High School.

 He retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force as an Administration Technician and Security Specialist.  He received Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, AF Outstanding Unit Award, AF Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, AF Overseas Short and Long Tour Ribbons, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon and was a small arms expert.  Bob was a former employee of Montgomery Ward, Rome, NY and Bank of New York, Utica, NY.

Bob married the former Sandra Burns who passed away on July 17, 2013.  He married Sharon L. Miller on December 21, 2016.  Bob was of the Catholic faith.  He was an avid bowler and member of the National Rifle Association. 

Surviving besides his wife Sharon, is a daughter, Michelle (Jürgen) Becker, Germany, two sons, Rob (Bernadette) Moore, Barneveld, NY, Brian Moore, Steuben, NY, six grandchildren: Melanie, Bianca, Jessica, Weda, Mikayla and Cameron, eight great-grandchildren: Leon, Alisha, Fabian, Emily, Lilly, Marlon Michael and Livia.  Also surviving is a sister Carol Mohlmann, Niskayuna, NY, and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife Sandra and two brothers and sisters-in- laws; Jack and Pat Moore, Donald and Daphne Moore.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Hospice & Palliative Care and the Amish Community for their care and compassion shown to Bob.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 2-4 p.m.  Burial will full Military Honors will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 12:30 p.m.
