Obituary of Vincent P Gobrick Jr.

Vincent P. Gobrick Jr., 85, of Rome, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer, NY. He was born in Staten Island, NY, on October 4, 1937 son of the late Vincent P. Gobrick Sr., and Florence Ellen Roberts. Vinny served with the U.S. Navy from 1955-1963. On April 21, 1958 he married Julia J. Spinelli in Oneida, NY. Vinny retired from New York State School for the Deaf. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Oneida.

Surviving are his wife Julia, four sons: Vincent (Jen) Gobrick III, Rome, NY, Scott Gobrick, Fredericksburg, VA, Anthony Gobrick, Buffalo, NY, and John (Dawn) Gobrick, SC, a daughter, Debbie Harvey, Rome, NY, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Patricia McKibbon, Elmira, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Mark M. Gobrick, his parents, brothers: Donald, William, Carl, and Jack, sisters, Theresa McKibbon, SC, and Kathleen, Elmira. NY.

There are no services or calling hours. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
