Andrew M. D'Amore Obituary

 


Andrew M. D’Amore, 64, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica.  He was born in Rome, NY, September 29, 1958 son of Dominick and Rosemary Genovese D’Amore.  Andy graduated from Oriskany Central School Class of 1976.  He worked in several textile mills and retired from MVCI-ABC, Westmoreland, NY.  Andy was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. 


Surviving is his mother, Rosemary A. D’Amore, a brother, Anthony A. D’Amore and (Leanore T. Checchi), all of Rome, two sisters, Andrea (Barry) Thaler, Rome and FL, Donna Sweet, Utica and several nieces and nephews including a special niece and goddaughter, Amanda Sweet.  He was predeceased by his father Dominick D’Amore.


Funeral Services will be private.  There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.


Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome.
