Jack Levinson
Jack Levinson, 95, of Remsen and formerly of Rome, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Lewis County General Hospital. He was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on August 29, 1914, son of the late Harry and Sadie Levinson. Jack served with the U.S. Army during WW II. He married the former Sylvia Klein, who passed away in 1991. Jack retired as a union carpenter.
Surviving are a brother, Philip Levinson, Remsen; nieces and a nephew, Wendy and James Maiello, Remsen, and Beverly Levinson, Yonkers.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the entire staff at Lewis County General Hospital and Nursing Facility.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Flushing, N.Y. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
