Lena M. Wilson, 71, of Oneida Castle, N.Y., formerly of Rome, N.Y., was called home by God, unexpectedly on Tuesday May 30, 2023 while at home. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on April 16, 1952, daughter of the late Frank and Rosaria Squadrito Perry. Lena was educated in Rome schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy. She had a strong love for all animals, especially her Amy. Lena also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking for her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Rose Britten of Utica, and Tammy Britten of Rome. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Dale, Arayiah, Darren, Ashley, Cameron, Lyndsey, Isabella, Frank Jr., Amarie, Jayden, Angelito, Aaliyiah, Drake, and Paislynn; and great-grandchildren, Taniyah, Jayden, Desaraya, Julionna, Darren Jr., Lucus, Gionni, Ja’zier, TJ, Analieze, Jasmine, and Hudson, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Enoch “Tink” Wilson, a son, Frank E. Wilson, and a brother, Paul Perry.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday July 15, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, lower East Dominick Street in Rome, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd. Rome.
