Mom.
I hope you know how very much you were loved. Thank you for all the conversations, for the clarity of the past, for answering my endless questions and for loving me.
Roy and I will NOT mourn you! We will rejoice in the memories you gifted us with.
You died the way you lived Mom, on your own terms, and I know that if you could, you would tell us all how the next chapter would go.
I did as you wished, surrounded you with all the love of family and friends, fill your home with the sounds of laughter and conversation. I know you heard our whispered words of love and at the end, you silently slipped from this world to the next into the waiting arms of your beloved, George.
You are free now Mom, no more pain, no physical weakness, no more sorrow. Soar Mom, soar! (And please be nice to my dad when you see him)
