Mark C. Finster
1958 – 2023
Mark C. Finster, 65, of Lee Center, N.Y., passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Rome Health. He was born in Constableville, N.Y. on August 21, 1958, son of the late Carlton and Anna Fanfarillo Finster.
Mark was a volunteer at the Lee Center Fire Department, and a member of St. Joseph’s Church. He was also an avid car fanatic and collector of classic cars.
Surviving are a sister, Carol Magliocca, and a brother, Carl (Karen) Finster, an aunt, Cres Fanfarillo, and nieces and nephews, Jo-Ann (Ed) Fiore, Michael Magliocca, Paul Trottier, and Lisa Magliocca (Dave Coriale), as well as several cousins and good friends. Mark was pre deceased by his parents, Carlton and Anna Finster, a brother-in-law, Joseph Magliocca, Jr., a nephew, Joseph Magliocca III, and several aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 06, 2024 at 12:30 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Church, 5748 Stokes Lee Center Rd, Lee Center, N.Y., with the Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends at Church from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m, prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to Humane Society of Rome, Inc., P.O. Box 4572, Rome, N.Y. 13442-4572.
