Lisa I remember way back when, you were going through some personal things and I was trying to protect you and wasn't going to let just anybody call and ask for you. I remember your mom called for you and not knowing here I thought it was a trick so I ask her what your bday was and what day you were born on, only a mom knows the answer without hesitation she answered right away and thanked me for looking out for you. Donna you will be missed. May you rest in peace knowing Lisa will be taken care of.

I met Donna many years ago when her son and I got together. At first I wasn't too sure she liked me, so it was a little uncomfortable. Lol. I lived with her and her son. She made the best food and desserts. Christmas cookies, oh my, she made many! She loved baking. She was there for me like my own mother. I gave her, her first grand daughter, Alexis Rose, her Angel girl. We all lived together for a while, she helped raise Lex, she helped me over come anxiety and the baby blues. She would be the one I called when we moved away from her to Niagara Falls, when I needed advice for myself or Lex when she would get sick. She was the person we ran back to when things went bad. She was funny, caring, smart, and beautiful, made me laugh so much. Her constant complaining about her Carey St neighbors, lol. We all know she loved the chaos, it gave her something to do. Lol ... she always hated the cold but also hated it being too hot. She loved her soaps, country music, she was a true joy to have in your life. May she fly high with all of our loved ones that we've lost and watch over us in this life. Rest peacefully Donna.

I remember being 17 years old meeting Donna the 1st time in 1990. Me being the father of her very 1st grandchild and of a different racial makeup it made for some awkwardness and adjustments to be made on both sides. We may have had our differences & our ups and downs over the years but we loved each other because we both knew we loved our family. Love is boundless and can break cultural boundaries. Donna, you were a surrogate mom to me and a wonderful grandmother, you were truly loved and cherished by your family and you will be truly missed
