Julie A. Landers

Julie A. Landers 66, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2024. She was born on April 6, 1958, in Ottawa, Canada, a daughter of the late Fred and Joan Carter New. Prior to her retirement Julie was employed by Catholic Charites of Rome and Cigna of Colorado. Julie will be remembered for her wild imagination, her love for family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She had a strong belief in the Lord and helping those in need. In her spare time Julie enjoyed crocheting, antiquing, tending to her flower gardens and reading a good inspirational / spiritual novel.

She is survived by a daughter, Bethany Waller of Rome; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Kelly New of Denver; a brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Grace New; a sister, Judy New; stepfather, Robert Meschino; two cherished grandchildren, Madelyn and Jonathan: a niece, Danielle New; and nephew, Peter New. Julie was predeceased by a son, Matthew David Landers.

Funeral services are private and there are no calling hours.
