Richard J. Guglielmo Jr.

   Richard J. Guglielmo, age 69, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on November 23, 1954, a son of the late Richard and Matilda (Tillie) Tardbania Guglielmo. Richard was a graduate of Westmoreland High School. He operated a food service court at M.V.C.C. Rome campus. Richard loved going to Vernon Downs for harness racing, bingo at the casino and watching football.

   He is survived by his favorite aunt Cathy and uncle, Glen Sexton, other aunts & uncles including Angie Guglielmo and Delores Fontaine, special grandchildren, Allen Jr., Alec, Aston and parents, Allen and Alicia Pflanz, several cousins and good friends Wayne and Henry. Richard was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Sperduto, much loved grandparents, Philip and Nellie Tardbania, Leonard and Beatrice Guglielmo and several aunts and uncles.

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will take place at Rome Cemetery.
