Vincent E. Marchione Vincent E. Marchione, 92, formerly of Rome, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Bluffton, SC. He was born in Rome, NY on September 20, 1917, son of the late Rosario and Loretta Paliotta Marchione. Vinnie proudly served his country in the US Army in World War II. On April 19, 1941, he married Anne Pavese of Utica, NY in St. Mary Mt. Carmel Church, Utica. She passed away on January 9, 2000. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Rome, and currently was a member of St. Gregory the Great Church in Bluffton, SC. Vinnie was employed by Rome Manufacturing Company Division of Revere Copper and Brass for over 40 years, and retired as head of the Tea Kettle Division. Shortly after retirement, he and Anne moved to Port St. Lucie, FL, where he lived until his move to Bluffton, SC in 2008. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, golf, bocce, gardening and riding his bicycle. Surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and James Fulton of Washington, DC and Mary Diane and Wayne Beavers of Bluffton, SC; two grandsons and their wives, Keith and Gina Beavers of Manhattan, NY, and Sean and Christianne Beavers of Kennesaw, GA; two great granddaughters, Kara and Emma Beavers; four step grandchildren and their families, Jean Hendrix and her husband Jay, of Austin, TX, Richard Fulton and his wife Lisa, of Houston, TX, Thomas Fulton, of Alvin, TX, and Robert Fulton and his wife Estella, of Hong Kong; and 8 step great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Dominick Marchione, of Rome, and a brother-in-law, Daniel Pavese of Utica; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne, brother, Freddie Marchione and sister, Nazzarene Rahorcsak. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22, at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court Street, and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincent D.
