Obituary of Beulah O. Wampfler

Beulah O. Wampfler Beulah O. Wampfler, 89, of Rome, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Utica, NY on September 7, 1920, daughter of the late Allen and Gertrude Brazie Watches. Beulah attended Utica schools. She married Theron D. Bowers, who passed away January 7, 2000. Beulah later married John Wampfler, who passed away. She retired as a cook from Rome State School. Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Harley and Janice Bowers, Lee Center, Wayne and Kim Bowers, Park City, Utah, Paul and Sally Bowers, Anchorage, Alaska, and Lynn Bowers, Lee Center; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and David Dodge, Lee Center; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Thompson. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.
