Grace R. Ciotti Grace R. Ciotti, 85, of Rome, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on March 10, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Ross Vaccaro. Grace graduated from Rome Free Academy. On December 28, 1946, she married Vincent A. Ciotti in St. John the Baptist Church. Mrs. Ciotti was a former employee of Griffiss Air Force Base and Revere Copper and Brass. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband, Vincent; are a daughter and son-in- law, Karen and Paul Swanson, Rome; two grandchildren, Patricia and her husband, Neil Ranney, Boston, Mass., Timothy and his wife, Maggie White Swanson, Rome; two great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Malachi; a brother, Victor Vaccaro, Rome; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Fran Stys, Whitesboro. Also surviving are sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gabriel and Karen Ciotti, Olympia Carletta, Pat and Donna Ciotti and Anthony and Sue Ciotti, all of Rome, Louise Snyder, Illinois, Joanne Ciotti, Rome, Ruth Fraccola, California; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Vincent J. Ciotti, and a sister, Margaret Vaccaro. The family would like to express a special thank you to Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility for their care and compassion shown to Grace. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
