Obituary of Yolanda A. Lucci

Yolanda A. Lucci Yolanda A. Lucci, 93, of Rome, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 while visiting her family in Virginia. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on June 30, 1917, daughter of the late Marco and Amelia Deonofrio Malorzo. On July 2, 1938, she married Albert R. Lucci Sr. in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away June 5, 2000. Yolanda was a hairdresser in Rome for over 40 years. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Albert Jr. and Penny Lucci, Fort Pierce, Fla., Carl Dennis Lucci, Winchester, Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Edward Calenzo, Middleburg, Va.; three grandchildren, Jason and his wife, Dianna Calenzo, James and his wife, Precious Calenzo, Seth and his wife, Susan Lucci; a great grandson, Joey, who brought her such laughter and happiness; several nieces and nephews; and long time friends, Pauline and Kim Kapinos, Rome. She was predeceased by a sister, Rose Spinelli, and five brothers, Thomas, James, Buck, Louis and Lee Malorzo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
