Obituary of Rosaria Jensen

Rosaria 'Rose' Supernaw Jensen Rosaria "Rose" Supernaw Jensen, 83, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Lutheran Home, Clinton. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on October 3, 1926, daughter of the late Antonio and Franchesca Baesann Amici. Rose attended Rome schools. On July 30, 1947, she married Roy Supernaw in Rome. He passed away June 10, 1976. She later married Bernard Jensen in Rome in 2007. Rose retired from Stonehedge Nursing Home and was a former employee of Oneida Limited. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband, Bernard, are a son, Walter Supernaw and his wife Betty, Camden; five daughters, Rosaria Supernaw Zeppieri and her husband Ernest, Camden, Janet Peck, Linda Connolly and her husband Dave, all of Rome, Francine Morrison and Bonnie LeRoy, both of New Hartford; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Josephine Grago, Rome, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Supernaw, a son, Roger W. Supernaw, a brother, Thomas Amici, and two sisters, Lena Ellinger and Eleanor Weaver. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11 a.m.
