Please know that my heart aches for you today. Joe was a great man. He was a gentle soul. He had a beautiful smile and always made you feel warm and welcomed in his home. I have great memories of sharing some holidays with you and your family that I will treasure forever! Joe loved his girls. He would do anything for his wife and daughters! And then when you would just mention his grandchildren...he would light up like a Christmas Tree! Joe was a best friend. He and jimmy zelinski got me interested in the fire service since ia am in my 25 year with charlotte fire dept and thank them every day for my direction in this life. I will join him again some day at that firehouse in heaven. sincere condolences to the family.
