Obituary of Rose Mary Recchio

Rose Mary Recchio Rose Mary Recchio, 53, of Rome, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on January 4, 1957, daughter of the late Owen and Leona Lombino Evans. Rose Mary was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1975. On September 22, 1978, she married Richard P. Recchio in St. John the Baptist Church. Rose Mary was an employee of Rome United Way. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Rose Mary was very family oriented and everything that she did was for her family. Surviving besides her husband, Richard, are three sons and a daughter- in-law, Matthew and Janna Recchio, and Lee Recchio, all of Rome, Richie Recchio, Charlotte, N.C.; and a granddaughter, Gina. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, Anthony and Elaine Evans, and George Evans, all of Rome; two sisters and a brother-in- law, Janie DeAngelis, Rochester, N.Y., Patty and Allen Enos, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Owen and Leona, and a niece, Carrie. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7 p.m.
