Angela M. Worlock
Angela M. Worlock, 90, of Rome, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, Friday, February 11, 2011 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Sidney Center, N.Y. on December 21, 1920, daughter of the late Pasquale and Madeline Spaltro DeNoia. On November 25, 1948, she married Ralph L. Worlock, in St. John the Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Loomis Dress Factory. Angie was a member of St. Peter's Church and its Bereavement Committee and Senior's Guild, and attended mass daily with her husband Ralph. Angie loved to bowl and did sewing alterations at home.
Surviving besides her husband, Ralph, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Patricia Worlock, Dallas, TX, Richard and Mary Ann Worlock, Rome, a daughter, Sister Mary Josita (Angela) Worlock, Monroe, N.Y., a granddaughter, Wendy and her husband Scott Paul, and a great grandson, Judah Michael Paul, all of Schuyler, N.Y. Also surviving are sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rose Ventolieri, Sacramento, CA, Paul A. and Ines Worlock, Robert Kaier, all of Rome, and Jack Griffith, Westernville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, John DeNoia, Anthony, Mario and Paul Ventolieri, and a sister, Settimia Cirone, and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Bethany Gardens for their excellent care and compassion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate, P.O. Box 658, Monroe, NY 10949.
