Obituary of Josephine Coniglio Felker

Josephine Coniglio Felker Josephine A. Felker, 55, of Rome, passed away Saturday, February, 19, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, New Hartford. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on July 26, 1955, daughter of Anthony and Betty Ripley Coniglio. Josephine was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1974. On November 11, 1994, she married Walter Felker in Rome. Josephine was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and former member of Rome Moose Club. Surviving besides her husband, Walter, are three daughters, Vicki LaVine and her fiance, Kevin Eastman, Ava, Dawn LaVine, New Hartford, Heather Buntin, Rome; a son, Matthew Felker, Rome; two grandchildren, Brice and Braden Eastman. Also surviving are her father, Anthony "Moe" Coniglio, Rome; a brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Mary Beth Coniglio, Syracuse; mother-in-law, Janet Felker, Ava; and several nieces and nephews, including Danielle Coniglio. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty Coniglio, and a sister, Sue Stolo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
