Obituary of Marie Dursi Corigliano

Marie Dursi Corigliano Marie Dursi Corigliano, 79 of Maricopa, AZ., formerly of Rome, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at home. She was born in Rome, NY, on July 2, 1931, daughter of the late Louis and Angela LoMascolo Dursi. Marie graduated from Rome Free Academy class of 1949. On November 6, 1954, she married Louis J. Corigliano in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away, March 14, 1999. Marie retired from Griffiss Air Force Base. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Mark Squires, Maricopa, AZ, two beloved grandchildren Andrea and her husband Nate Meyers, Chandler, AZ and Timothy Squires, Rochester, NY. Also surviving are four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and David Kotary, Rome, Jo Knight, Rome, Norma and Don DeOrio, Anaheim CA, Irene and Tom Maher, San Antonio, TX, Art Mosca, Rome, two brothers Richard Dursi, Rome, and Robert Dursi, CA, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Mosca and a nephew Mark Spadafora. Funeral services will be held, on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m at St. John the Baptist Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
