Ernestine Musante Coluccio Ernestine Musante Coluccio, 94, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on November 7, 1916, daughter of the late Louis J. and Clara Milvo Musante. Ernestine attended Rome Schools. On July 17, 1935, she married Nick T. Coluccio in Rome. Mrs. Coluccio was office manager for Thomas F. Coluccio and Sons, Inc. She was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Ernestine was past president and life member of the Rome Women's Bowling Association and was inducted into the Rome Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame on July 11, 1988. She was a member of NYS Women's Bowling Association and Women's International Bowling Association. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. and Mary Coluccio, and a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Wayne Waterman, all of Rome; eight grandchildren, Donna and Pete Holohan, Thomas S. Coluccio, Victoria and Thomas Wasco, Mark and Joanne Gualtieri, Karen Scuderi, Nicholas and Diane Gualtieri, Lynne and Louis Marcinkowski, and Mark Barry; great grandchildren, Sarah and Melanie Holohan, Kayla, Nicole and Hannah Wasco, Jennifer and Michael Scuderi, Arielle, Elena and Dominick Gualtieri, Carrie, Michael and Jamie Marcinkowski, Stephanie Townsend, Clay and Amy Reff. Also surviving are several nieces, including Sheila Wilson, and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Helen M. Brown and Genevieve M. Shannon, and a nephew, Peter Shannon. The family would like to express a special thank-you to the fifth floor staff at Bethany Gardens and also to Sister Marie Wilson. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. Paul's Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church Restoration Fund or Bethany Gardens Activity Fund.
