Frances Cascarella Frances Cascarella , 83, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Rome Memorial Hospital.. She was born in Preming, Germany on July 11, 1925, daughter of the late Anton and Franziska Geier.Meier. On August 17,1948 she married. Nicholas Cascarella in Germany,a blessed union of 46 years. He passed away in 1994.Mrs. Cascarella was a former employee of A&P and Loblaws.She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church where she was an usher. Frances was a loving and devoted mother and wife. . Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law,Jeanette Cascarella-Harosia,Rome,Sharon and John Glass,Cazenovia,Roberta Cascarella,Rome;a son,Nicholas Cascarella,San Diego,Calif;a brother and sister-in-law, Pepi and Rita Meier Germany; a sister, Olga, Germany. Also surviving are a brother-in-law,Dominick Cascarella,Sacramento,Calif;and sisters-in-law,Isabel Batterman,Cambridge, Mass,and Margaret Cascarella,Hollywood, Calif; and Frances Cascarelli Sacramento, Calif; and several nieces and nephews, including a neice,Fran and her husband David Platt,Marcy. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas,and a daughter,Karen Cascarella, and brothers-in-law, Joseph Cascarella,Anthony Cascarella,Angelo Cascarella,George Cascarella,Frank Cascarelli,Gil Lichtenberger, Herbert Batterman and sisters-in-law,Rose Eppley and Sarah Lichtenberger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at , at St. Peters Church where relatives and friends are invited to attend Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery Friends may call at the Nicholas J.
